Full job description

We are looking for a motivated and adaptable new team member to join Direct Trade Supplies as part of our growing operation.

This is a varied hybrid role combining customer service, office administration and warehouse operations, making it ideal for somebody who enjoys learning different areas of a business rather than being stuck doing the same task every day.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

Assisting customers with order and product queries via email and telephone
Contacting suppliers regarding lead times and product availability
Processing and invoicing orders
Picking and packing customer orders
Assisting with stock control and stock takes
Supporting general day-to-day warehouse and office operations

We are looking for somebody with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Previous experience within an electrical wholesaler, trade counter, warehouse or e-commerce environment would be beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

This is a great opportunity to join a business at an exciting stage of growth following the launch of our new website and expanding operations. The role offers genuine long-term progression opportunities, with exposure to all aspects of running a modern online business including e-commerce, logistics, customer service, product management and operations.

As the business continues to grow, there will be opportunities for the right person to develop into more specialised areas and take on additional responsibility.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
8:00am – 5:00pm
(Alternative 7:30am – 4:30pm option available)

Alternate Saturday mornings
8:30am – 12:00pm
