Job Description
Jacksdale Medical Centre is looking to welcome a dedicated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to our inclusive, well-established practice for 2 sessions per week.
Located in the heart of Jacksdale village, we serve a list size of approximately 4,700 patients. Our close-knit team includes 2 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, 3 Practice Nurses, 1 GPA, 5 Care Navigators and 2 Medical Secretaries. We are further supported by a comprehensive range of PCN ARRS roles, including an ARRS GP, a Home Visiting ANP, a Clinical Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, FCP, GPA, Mental Health Nurse, Diabetic Specialist Nurse, Housebound Care Coordinator and a Midwife.
We provide high-quality care through 15-minute appointments and use a total triage model with accurx tailored to our practice needs. You will be supported by digital tools including SystmOne, accurx, Abtrace, iGPR and X-on Surgery Connect and AI scribe software, enhancing workflow and documentation.
The role offers:
· 15-minute appointments with a focus on safe, high-quality care
· 25 patient contacts per day: including a 30-minute home visit slot in the afternoon. There is scope for flexible hours, although duty triage days must be until 6:30pm
· Dedicated admin time and protected breaks built into the day
· 2 sessions per week
· Opportunities to contribute to coil and implant clinics, joint injections and future minor surgery clinics (pending premises update)

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- GMC registration and licence to practise
- Inclusion on the GP Performers List
- Proficiency in SystmOne
- Excellent communication and clinical skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive patient care
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Desirable Criteria
- Clinical Supervisor or Educational Supervisor status, or an interest in becoming one
- Willingness to participate in the Duty Doctor triage rota
- Interest in developing additional clinical skills and services
