Duties
- Provide a wide range of hairdressing services, including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
- Offer specialised services such as Olaplex, balayage bespoke colour application to enhance client satisfaction.
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining the cleanliness of the salon area.
- Upsell (incentive) products and additional services to maximise client experience and salon revenue.
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices, sharing expertise in hairdressing techniques and customer service excellence.
- Assist with store management tasks when required, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Build strong relationships with clients through personalised advice and attentive service to encourage repeat business.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse styling skills.
- Knowledge of store management practices is advantageous.
- Skills in barbering, colouring, styling and cutting are desirable but not essential; training can be provided.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients of all ages.
- Ability to upsell products and promote additional services confidently.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage appointments efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Experience in front desk operations or administrative tasks within a salon environment is preferred.
