Set on the beautiful harbour front in St Aubin, The Old Court House is a busy, premium food-led pub and hotel with a strong wet trade, vibrant atmosphere, and an excellent reputation for hospitality. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-volume operation in one of Jersey’s most desirable hospitality locations.
We’re looking for a passionate and driven Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day running of the business, inspire the team, and help deliver exceptional hospitality standards across every shift. This role would suit an ambitious hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading people, and takes pride in creating unforgettable guest experiences.
As Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to lead the front-of-house operation, maintain high service standards, support recruitment and training, and ensure every guest receives outstanding service from the moment they walk through the door.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a confident, hands-on hospitality leader who can thrive in a fast-paced, premium food-led environment and confidently support the operation across all areas of the business.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong wet-led operational experience within a busy pub, bar, or hospitality venue
- Experience managing high-volume restaurant operations with over 100 covers
- Proven ability leading, motivating, and developing teams of 10 or more
- A good understanding of P&L performance and commercial awareness
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, food safety, and HACCP procedures
- Event operations and logistics experience, including planning and delivering smooth guest experiences
- A passion for exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest moments
- Confidence supporting recruitment, onboarding, and team development
- The ability to lead from the front and perform under pressure during busy service periods
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
