Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with our restaurant standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts to develop their skills within a professional kitchen environment. The Chef De Partie will play a vital part in ensuring our guests receive exceptional dining experiences through meticulous attention to detail and culinary excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards, adhering to recipes and presentation guidelines
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or sauces, ensuring smooth operation during service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff to promote best practices in food preparation and safety
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are fresh and available
Collaborate with the Head Chef and team to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, maintaining consistency in quality and presentation
Comply with health and safety regulations at all times, including proper handling of equipment and ingredients

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
Good understanding of meal preparation processes across various cuisines
Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving experience in hospitality settings
Strong attention to detail with a focus on presentation and quality control
