Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant

Northgate House Care Home – Lanam Healthcare
Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available

Location: Northgate House Care Home

Northgate House Care Home, part of Lanam Healthcare, is looking for caring, reliable, and hardworking Housekeepers / Domestic Assistants to join our friendly team. You will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Clean residents’ rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, offices, and corridors to a high standard
Follow infection control and health & safety procedures at all times
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns to the senior team
Support laundry duties when required
Ensure dignity, privacy, and respect for all residents
Work as part of a team to create a welcoming and homely environment

What We Are Looking For

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking individuals
A caring and respectful attitude towards elderly residents
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail and high cleaning standards
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
Right to work in the UK is required
