NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
This is a fixed term post of 12 months. 40 hours per week.
The shift pattern for this post is to be confirmed.
Applications are invited for a Consultant post which will be based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH). The successful candidate will join the team of consultants working within the Acute Medicine department.
Applicants must have full GMC registration and a licence to practise. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT in Acute Internal Medicine (AIM) and/or General Internal Medicine (GIM), or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR), or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of Interview. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
