BB Building Services is growing fast and we're on the lookout for a reliable, hard-working, bricklayer/builder to join our team in Leeds!

We're a small but ambitious team delivering top-quality residential building projects across Leeds and West Yorkshire. You’ll be working alongside skilled tradesmen, labourers and project managers helping us to take things to the next level.
Immediate start available – solid hours, steady work.
Our projects include:
1. Loft conversions;
2. Domestic builds, such as extensions;
3. Garage conversions;
4. Internal structural alterations;
5. Kitchens and bathrooms installations;
6. Bespoke joinery; and
7. Renovations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out all aspects of bricklaying, blockwork and masonry construction to a high standard.
- Construct cavity walls, internal blockwork, retaining walls, garden walls, and structural masonry works.
- Complete foundation, oversite and substructure works where required.
- Undertake structural alteration works, including installation of steel beams (RSJs) and associated making good.
- Assist with loft conversions, extensions, garage conversions, and full property renovations.
- Carry out roofing, drainage, concreting and groundwork tasks as required.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and site instructions.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Building Regulations and approved drawings.
- Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Liaise professionally with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and management.
- Ensure materials are used efficiently and minimise waste.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment and respect client properties.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and site regulations.
- Report any issues, defects, delays or material requirements promptly to management.
- Assist with mentoring apprentices and/or labourers, where appropriate.
- Carry out general building works outside of bricklaying when required to support project delivery.
