Salary £44,805 - £56,956 depending on experience
Locations available – Chelmsford, Braintree, Thurrock, Southend on Sea
This is an exciting opportunity to be an Advanced Pain Clinician within an integrated community MSK, pain, & rheumatology service based in Mid & South Essex!
Services will be delivered from a range of healthcare, wellness and leisure centre venues across Mid & South Essex. There will be opportunities to work a varied timetable from locations that are locally accessible to colleagues and the communities we serve.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in one of these professions to join our community pain management service in Lincolnshire as AdvancedPain Clinician.
We are dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient care, in the most efficient and cost-effective way, with re-investment to ensure services are sustainable. We are looking for well-organised Advanced Practitioner in Pain, to deliver quality clinical care for patients with Chronic Pain. Whilst undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs, you must formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes and ensure effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge are achieved.
Join our motivated, ambitious, and fast-growing team. We focus on competency, developing talent and offer great flexibility. You’ll be registered with the HCPC or equivalent regulator (as professional background dictates) and be qualified as a clinician that works within MSK practice.
We are committed to a multi-professional workforce based on competency and welcome applications from Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Nurses. If you’re able to manage a varied caseload of Chronic Pain patients, committed to CPD and have the desire to develop yourself and the service, with a keen eye on improving patient care, then we’d like to hear from you.
Who we are looking for:

Previous experience in delivering pain rehabilitation with tangible results and commitment to providing excellent, personalised care.
- A deep understanding of the impact of Chronic Pain in the wider community and how collaborative working across the local system enables prevention and addresses health inequalities.
- Current valid registration with your relevant professional body or equivalent regulator (HCPC, GOsC, SST or BASraT)
- Outstanding values that underpin clinical expertise and people management
- Proven track record of influencing patients, people, commissioners, and pathways
- Understand, influence and drive quality of audits and the integration of EBP.
- Educational acuity in developing and providing specialist teaching in Chronic Pain
- Strong desire and drive to deliver innovation and lead on change.
- Experience of developing team members
