Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Operate spray guns and other power tools to apply paint or coatings evenly across different surfaces
- Use hand tools and fabrication equipment to assist in surface preparation and assembly tasks
- Conduct quality checks on painted components to meet specified standards
- Assist with the assembly of parts as required, ensuring proper fit and finish
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Follow detailed instructions and specifications for colour matching and coating thickness
- Use basic maths skills to measure and mix paints or coatings accurately
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools, power tools
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as sanders, brushes, scrapers, and masking tape applicators
- Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and mixing ratios
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with industrial environments is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control and safety compliance
