Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and organised Sales and Marketing Assistant to support our sales and marketing activities across multiple channels. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about helping drive business growth through effective sales support and marketing initiatives.
The successful candidate will assist with lead generation, customer communications, marketing campaigns, social media content, event coordination, and administrative support for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support
- Assist the sales team with lead generation and prospect research.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
- Maintain and update customer records within the CRM system.
- Follow up on customer enquiries and support the sales process.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and customer communications.
- Produce regular sales reports and performance data reports.
- Support account management activities and customer retention initiatives.
Marketing Support
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Create and schedule content for social media platforms.
- Support email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional activities.
- Update website content and marketing materials as required.
- Coordinate the production of brochures, flyers, and other marketing collateral.
- Monitor campaign performance and compile marketing reports.
- Assist with market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback collection.
Events & Administration
- Support the planning and delivery of exhibitions, trade shows, and promotional events.
- Coordinate marketing assets and event logistics.
- Manage marketing inventories, promotional materials, and branded merchandise.
- Provide general administrative support to the sales and marketing departments.
- Ensure all records, documents, and databases are maintained accurately.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a sales, marketing, customer service, or administrative role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Comfortable using CRM systems and digital marketing tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach to customer interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with social media management platforms.
- Knowledge of email marketing software and content creation tools.
- Basic understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and analytics.
- Experience using design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Pay: £28,000.00 per year
