Plant and Commercial Spray Painter and Refinisher
An exciting role either working within or managing a small custom paint shop specialising in bespoke plant and commercial refinishing.
Based in our Kendal workshops, this role involves the preparation, painting and finishing of part and complete machines, vehicles and various production and bespoke components to meet both our in-house demands and those of our customers.
The ideal candidate will have acute attention to detail, be experienced in a range of painting methods and paint types including gloss variations, metallics and laquers, be able to follow instructions with great accuracy and have excellent housekeeping skills.
This role involves all aspects of refinishing work, from preparation through to final presentation.
This role additionally involves the general upkeep of the painting area, stock management of paints and consumables and the cordination of items and machinery in and out of the painting area.
Experience with signwriting or vinyl application, polish-finishing and valeting methods would be advantageous but not necessary as training can be given.
