Overview
We are seeking a skilled UPVC Fitter / Emergency Glazier to join our dynamic team. This role involves installing, repairing, and replacing UPVC windows and doors, as well as providing emergency glazing services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction-related trades, with the ability to work efficiently and safely in various environments. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience in building and repair works to contribute to high-quality service delivery.

Duties

Install, repair, and replace UPVC windows, doors, and related fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
Respond promptly to emergency glazing requests, ensuring swift and effective repairs.
Measure openings accurately and fabricate or modify components as needed to fit specifications.
Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to carry out installation and repair tasks safely and efficiently.
Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and installation instructions to ensure precise work.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist with other construction-related tasks such as plastering, masonry, or carpentry when required.

Skills

Proven experience in UPVC fitting or glazing services is essential.
Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, construction painting, fabrication, masonry, carpentry, and schematics is highly advantageous.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and repair work.
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to working at heights or around hazardous materials.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to adapt quickly to unforeseen issues during repairs or installations.
Good organisational skills with an organised approach to completing multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to apply their skills within a reputable company committed to quality craftsmanship and customer service excellence.

Pay: £14.69-£36.22 per hour
