Opening soon, Peek And Co. is a new private independent opticians bringing together independent designer eyewear, exceptional eyecare, and a truly personalised experience.

Our vision is to create a destination store where style, quality, and tailored service come together.

About the role

As we prepare to open our doors, we are seeking a talented and driven Dispensing Optician Assistant Manager to help lead the retail side of the business.

This is a rare opportunity to join a brand new boutique that values your expertise, offering the chance to work with premium eyewear brands and the latest technology in a high-end, design-led space.

You will play a key role in shaping Peek And Co. from the ground up, setting standards, building a loyal client base, and delivering an exceptional in-store experience.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day retail operations of the store, ensuring a smooth and efficient service
Provide expert dispensing services, guiding clients on frame selection, lenses, and styling to suit their individual needs
Manage stock levels, process orders, and maintain strong supplier relationships
Contribute to key business decisions, including product selection, marketing activity, and local initiatives
Deliver the brand’s exceptional in-store experience

Requirements

GOC Registered Dispensing Optician
Previous experience in an independent practice is essential
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a small team
Commercial awareness and confidence to contribute to business development
Excellent communication and organisational skills
