Finance Manager – Trinity Surfacing Ltd
Trinity Surfacing Ltd is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Finance Manager to join our team at our Kent headquarters.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, cashflow management, and strategic decision-making across the business. Working closely with the Commercial Director, Managing Director, Quantity Surveyors, and operational teams, you will provide commercial insight, challenge business performance, and ensure robust financial control across our surfacing and civil engineering operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines financial management with commercial partnering. You will oversee the finance function through the Head of Accounts, taking ownership of cashflow forecasting, budgeting, contract profitability analysis, financial reporting, and business planning. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of construction or civil engineering finance, including contract accounting, CVR processes, and working capital management.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing and cashflow reporting
- Review and sign off of monthly financials
- Capital investment appraisals
- Cost and margin analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial modelling for grow plans and investment decisions.
- Assist with the audit process and statutory accounts.
- Managing a small finance function
- Work closely with the Commercial Director
- Ensure compliance with VAT, CIS, PAYE
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a proactive, commercially minded approach and the ability to influence decision-making at senior level. Pay: £45,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
