Salary:
£27,500 per year, plus a sales bonus which is uncapped.
Shift pattern:
40 hours per week
This role generally operates Monday to Sunday between 9:00am and 6:00pm. However, flexibility is essential, as later finishes will be required on wedding days and other events. The position includes evening work, as well as availability during bank holidays and the Christmas season, including Christmas Day.
Main tasks of job:
Develop Creative Event Concepts: Design original and innovative concepts for weddings and events, tailoring each client and couples’ visions, themes, and expectations.
- Event Planning & Coordination: Manage all logistical and planning details from initial enquiry through to event delivery, ensuring smooth and seamless execution.
- Client Enquiries & Viewings: Handle a wide range of event enquiries, schedule and coordinate venue viewings, and provide clear, informative guidance throughout the booking process.
- Conduct Venue Showrounds: Deliver a professional and engaging showrounds, highlighting venue features and services, and follow up promptly with prospective clients- couples, quotes and other additional information.
- Client Communication & Updates: Maintain regular communication with clients - couples, providing updates, addressing questions, and informing them of any changes or issues that may arise.
- On-the-Day Event’s responsibilities: Be present during events to oversee timelines, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure every detail runs smoothly and according to plan that has been agreed.
- Problem-Solving & Initiative: Use initiative to resolve unexpected challenges on the event day, ensuring minimal disruption to clients - couples.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all staff, suppliers, and clients adhere to relevant health and safety standards, insurance requirements, and company policies.
- Email & Administrative Management: Manage both team and personal inboxes efficiently, ensuring timely responses and accurate administrative organisation.
- Client Relationship Building: Build strong rapport with clients to understand their needs, support their vision, and deliver a memorable and personalised event experience.
- Event Set-Up Oversight: Oversee the correct and efficient set-up of weddings and events, ensuring layouts, décor, and equipment meet agreed specifications.
- Policy Adherence: Follow all company policies, procedures, and operational standards to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Office team tasks: Help with team tasks, such as function sheets, event accounts, 10@10, fork bookings, accommodation checks, wedding prep, security,
- Training; to complete all company training, via Wirehouse, in house training, with event training, banqueting training.
