The Therapeutic Rehabilitation Assistant works as a key member of the rehabilitation therapy team and provides targeted, delegated rehabilitation programmes prescribed by a therapist.
The role acts as a bridge between Rehabilitation Healthcare Support Workers and the Therapy Team. You will spend the first part of the shift supporting ward-based care alongside Rehabilitation Healthcare Support Workers, contributing to personal care and rehabilitative activities, before working with the therapy team later in the shift to deliver prescribed rehabilitation interventions.
You will complete specialist induction and advanced training and will work within clearly defined competencies and under the supervision of qualified therapy staff at all times.
