Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Care Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support and care to all our patients. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working within a supportive and professional environment. Applicants should possess strong communication skills, be proficient inEMIS, and have the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities
Recording observations including blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and BMI
ECG recording
Wound care and dressings
Supporting chronic disease monitoring clinics
Administering injections following training
Chaperoning patients when required
Stock management and maintaining clinical rooms
Supporting infection prevention and control procedures
Delivering health promotion advice to patients
To conduct audits and patient screening in pursuance of the objectives in the Quality & Outcomes Framework (QOF)
Qualifications
Proven experience in healthcare
Excellent communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
IT skills for record keeping and communication.
Compassionate attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of GP practices procedures.
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs.

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a GP Practice is a must.
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Ability to use IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in caring for others
