Tritoma has been set up with the intention of offering every day commodity construction products at the best quality with competitive pricing along with a superior customer service. Example products will be fasteners and fixings, plastering profiles, builders metal work, site protection, access equipment.
To achieve this we will work with many suppliers worldwide to be able to build our own in house brands along with other brands we can represent exclusively. With these goals in mind, we will develop a sales and marketing team of extremely high calibre across the U.K.
Our route to market is to supply trade customers such as wholesalers, distributors, builder’s merchants, plumbing and heating merchants, DIY outlets, hardware stores, and to businesses involved in trades like joinery, glazing and roofing.
Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales Assistant to join our dynamic sales team. The Junior Sales Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team, engaging with customers, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team in achieving targets by providing excellent customer service and support.
- Engage with customers both in-person and over the phone to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Maintain product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Help organise promotional events and assist in merchandising efforts.
- Maintain a clean and organised sales environment to enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for improvement in sales processes.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential.
