Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Ecommerce Trading Assistant, as a maternity cover, based in our Leicestershire based offices. Working in the trading team, you will responsible for managing and updating the ecommerce platforms to ensure pages and products are consistent with trading priorities, are on the site in the right place, at the right time and you should be able to interpret and understand retail data and be able to plan for any changes.
This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, covering a period of maternity leave, to start in July.
Objectives
To support the efficient operation and growth of the ecommerce platforms by assisting with various trading activities, ensuring optimal product performance and revenue generation.
Working closely with the Ecommerce Manager and buying team, the main focus of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the front-end ecommerce platforms and ensuring that products and pages are up to date.
Key responsibilities
- List new products and ranges on-site, implementing content that is on brand, optimised for SEO, GEO and of value to our customer base
- Ensure that on-site product activity supports the wider marketing and strategic campaigns
- Contribute ideas to support commercial and seasonal opportunities
- Action any necessary changes on site following customer feedback
- Review and progress online availability of product ranges in conjunction with the Buying team
- Review product performance to ensure all opportunities are maximised
- Maintenance of product listings to ensure information is up to date and accurate

- Experience of the Shopify platform
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: £27,300.00 per year
