Ready to take your passion for fitness and people to the next level?
We’re on the lookout for a motivated, ambitious, get-things-done Assistant Club Manager to be a key player at the heart of Anytime Fitness Rushden.
Reporting to our General Manager (Multi-Site) (who is responsible for performance across both our clubs in Kettering & Rushden), you’ll help lead a dynamic team and keep the Club running smoothly, welcoming, and high-performing. This role has a clear commercial focus: driving membership growth and protecting revenue through retention - whilst delivering brilliant standards and an environment members love.
This is an ideal step-up role for someone who is multi-disciplined across sales, operations and fitness, with early leadership potential. You’ll be supported and developed through weekly management and coaching with the GM.
If you’re upbeat, great with people, fuelled by targets, and genuinely care about creating a positive club culture - we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Help lead the club day-to-day, and step up as duty manager when needed, supporting the team to deliver an excellent member experience.
- Drive membership growth by owning the full sales journey: from prospect generation, through appointment booking, to closing membership sales professionally and with confidence.
- Coach the team to stay consistent and focused on performance - smashing KPIs through good habits, great energy, and strong follow-up.
- Protect the membership base through high retention: by proactively engaging with debtors, and supporting cancellation conversations in a calm, professional way; aiming for “saves” wherever appropriate and helping members stay on track.
- Keep the Club in top-tier condition with sparkling standards: maintaining cleanliness and presentation, and staying on top of equipment checks and issue reporting.
- Support outreach and local activity that strengthens visibility and membership growth, building a community around the Club.
- Complete essential Health & Safety checks and ensure the Club operates safely and professionally.
- Maintain basic reporting and admin: tracking leads, appointments, conversions, retention actions, and key numbers accurately.
