Full job description

We are seeking an efficient, organized, and reliable Temporary Inventory & E-Commerce Assistant for a fixed-term contract of approximately one month. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role perfect for someone looking for immediate short-term work.

You will be responsible for helping us sort, count, and box our physical inventory, as well as getting those items accurately recorded and listed for sale.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Stock Take: Efficiently unpack, count, sort, and organize stock items.
Packing & Boxing: Securely box items and label them clearly for organized storage.
Data Recording: Accurately log item quantities, descriptions, and stock data into our spreadsheet/records.
Online Listing: Create clear, accurate product listings on our online sales channels [insert platforms if relevant, e.g., eBay, Shopify, Amazon].
Quality Checks: Inspect items during the counting process to note any damages or discrepancies.

Requirements & Skills:

Excellent attention to detail and strong basic numeracy skills (crucial for accurate counting).
Comfortable using computers and basic spreadsheet software.
Ability to work efficiently and hit daily targets.
Good written English to write clear, simple online product descriptions.
Physical Requirement: Ability to lift, bend, and move boxes comfortably throughout the day.
Availability: Must be able to commit to the full 4-week period and start immediately.

Job Details:

Job Type: Temporary / Fixed-Term Contract (Approx. 1 Month)
Salary: £13.00–£14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Flexible Hours to Suit
Expected Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible
Work Location: Thrapston
