Job Overview

We offer weekly pay for self employed Door Supervisors paid the following Friday of the working week. This role is for every Saturday night around 22:15-03:15 at the Circle, Lincoln. . There will be more shifts/events to choose from if you wish, which include more events at the same venue and other venues via our scheduling/shift app. We cover numerous venues and retail sites.

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills, a calm demeanour, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This role involves monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and providing assistance in emergency situations. All applicants will be paid for their work and must demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.

Responsibilities

Manage entry and exit points, verifying identification and authorisation of visitors and staff
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity within the premises
Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, ensuring safety for all individuals present
Provide first aid assistance when necessary, following established protocols
Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with security team or management
Enforce rules and regulations courteously but firmly to uphold the safety standards of the venue
Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Experience

Previous experience in security or surveillance roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of CCTV operation, loss prevention techniques, and emergency response procedures is advantageous
First aid certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong observational skills with an ability to remain calm under pressure
Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance are essential for representing the organisation effectively
