The Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day delivery of TRIGO’s site-based operations across Aerospace, Defence, and Rail activities, with a strong focus on inspection and maintenance support services.
This role ensures that teams are effectively deployed, activities are delivered safely and to quality standards, and operational issues are resolved quickly on site.
The role is hands-on and field-oriented, with direct responsibility for managing teams of technicians and inspectors, as well as maintaining close contact with customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational & Service Delivery Support
- Coordinate daily operational activities across multiple customer sites within aerospace, defence and rail sectors.
- Support the planning and deployment of inspection, containment, rework and engineering support teams.
- Liaise with operational teams and staffing providers to ensure adequate workforce coverage in line with customer requirements.
- Monitor service delivery performance and escalate operational concerns where necessary.
- Ensure operational documentation, reports and customer records are maintained accurately and on time.
- Assist with the coordination of urgent customer requests and operational changes.
- Support continuous improvement activities to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Promote standardised operational practices across all customer locations.
Customer Support & Communication
- Act as a key operational contact for customers regarding service delivery and coordination matters.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and operational requests.
- Support the preparation of quotations, service reports and operational updates.
- Maintain professional working relationships with customer representatives and key stakeholders.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to support additional services within existing customer accounts.
- Ensure customer issues are tracked, communicated and resolved efficiently.
Quality, Compliance & Health & Safety
- Support compliance with customer requirements, industry regulations and TRIGO ADR UK Limited procedures.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO9001, AS9100 and other relevant quality standards.
- Ensure operational teams follow health, safety and environmental procedures at all times.
- Support internal audits, corrective actions and compliance reviews.
- Maintain accurate operational and compliance records.
- Identify and escalate risks relating to quality, safety or operational performance.
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain operational trackers, schedules and workforce records.
- Produce and distribute operational reports, KPI updates and customer information as required.
- Support payroll, invoicing and timesheet validation processes where applicable.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation and logistics arrangements for operational teams when required.
- Ensure all systems and databases are updated accurately.
Team Support & Coordination
- Support Site Managers, Team Leaders and operational personnel with day-to-day coordination activities.
- Promote effective communication between customers, operational teams and internal departments.
- Assist with onboarding, training coordination and workforce administration.
- Encourage a positive and professional team environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction.
Performance Metrics
- Service delivery performance and response times.
- Customer satisfaction and issue resolution.
- Accuracy and timeliness of operational reporting.
- Compliance with quality and HSE requirements.
- Workforce coordination and operational efficiency.
- Support of continuous improvement initiatives.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to: Managing Director, TRIGO ADR UK Limited
- Works closely with: Site Managers, Team Leaders, Quality Teams, HR, Finance and Business Development Teams
Key RequirementsExperience
- Previous experience in an operations coordination, administration or support role within aerospace, defence, rail, manufacturing or quality services environments.
- Experience coordinating multiple operational activities and customer requirements.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with operational reporting and administrative systems.
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety requirements within regulated industries is desirable.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
