Here at Ilex Group we are looking for 2 skilled Fire Stoppers to join our team of Fire Door Engineers helping support us specifically in Fire Stopping and Compartmentation within the Birmingham/Surrounding Areas. We are looking for these individuals to start with immediate effect.
Within this role you will partake in numerous areas mainly focusing on Fire Stopping and Compartmentation following to FIRAS standards (under Warrington Fire).
Day to day skills required will be:
- The Use of a tablet as we require electronic recordings for the daily work we carry out
- Will hold a full driving license and be expected to travel and at some occasions to stay away if necessary.
- Timekeeping and organisation to plan out your workweeks to achieve completion of the works given out.
- Provide dialogue with the team so that jobs are completed and closed out to a high standard and communicated to everyone.
Working Hours are 8am start to 5pm finish Monday to Friday, with sometimes the additional overtime offered over weekends.
Within this role you will join a team of highly driven individuals who work very closely with each other and strive to reach deadlines and also across the wider business as well, which covers many different areas within the construction world.
We do follow FIRAS Standards so if you do hold any qualifications within this it is very desirable, however is not essential but we will look to enroll you on these qualifications once you have been onboarded.
