YOUR ROLE
At Time etc, our virtual assistants are the heartbeat of what we do — and we're looking for someone who's genuinely passionate about finding the right people. As our in-house recruitment assistant, you'll be the friendly, professional face (and voice) that talented VAs encounter first.
You'll join our assistant champions team, and work from the initial application review through to onboarding our new assistants. This is a video-first/phone based role: expect plenty of time on camera and the phone building genuine connections with applicants across the UK and the US.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting video and phone interviews with prospective virtual assistants — assessing their experience, communication style, and suitability for our clients
- Reviewing applications and shortlisting candidates against our established criteria
- Managing candidate communications throughout the process — keeping applicants informed and ensuring a great experience at every touchpoint
- Supporting the onboarding of successful VAs — ensuring right to work checks are completed and new starters feel welcomed and set up for success
- Keeping our recruitment records accurate and up to date, contributing to reporting on pipeline, diversity, and hiring activity
- Sharing ideas for improving our recruitment process and helping us attract the very best VA talent
What we're looking for
- Confident and comfortable on video calls — you're at ease on camera and can put candidates at ease too
- Experience in recruitment, HR administration, or a people-facing role (in-house or agency background both welcome)
- Brilliant written and verbal communication — you write clearly, speak warmly, and know how to adapt your tone
- Organised and detail-oriented — you manage your own workload well and don't let things slip through the cracks
- A genuine interest in people — you care about candidate experience and understand that every interaction matters
- Comfortable working remotely and independently — we're a hybrid working team and you'll thrive in that environment

The Details:
- Starting salary £25,000
