Job description
We are looking to employee a graphics technician and trainee sign maker/designer/installer. No sign making experience necessary but a good understanding of Adobe Illustrator is essential.
This role will involve designing a wide range of things from logos, social media content, print materials and vehicle graphics to customer specifications.
Training will be given to be able to fit different types of vinyl to all different substrates, setting up wide format printers and cutter machines, laminating and fitting vehicle graphics as well as vehicle detailing and more.
It is imperative that you have a full UK driving licence, have good time management, good communication skills, be presentable and have a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will enjoy being hands on and enjoy a varied work load. After initial training, they will be expected to take a job from the design stage, through production and finally installation be that on site, on their own or as part of a team.
We are looking to grow the business and expand into different areas including window tinting, vehicle wrapping, detailing etc so scope for further training including off site training courses to be expected over time..
This role also includes ad hoc jobs like keeping the work space clean and tidy at all times.
This role will be on an initial 6 months probation then a full time contract.
Essential Criteria for this role (Please don't apply if you don't have):
Full UK Driving License
Basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator
