ABOUT US: Comm-Ply are a manufacturer of lining kits and installer of all aftermarket products to commercial vehicles with over 20 years' experience operating in the fast paced and dynamic commercial manufacturing sector. Comm-ply provide a true end-to-end service; from Interior vehicle linings, bespoke racking systems, towbars, secondary security locks, reverse cameras, light bars, chapter 8 and many more. Comm-Ply has local installation teams across the UK who each travel up to an 80 mile radius installing all aftermarket products.
JOB TITLE: Installer
RESPONSIBLE TO: Team Leader
JOB PURPOSE: The company installs aftermarket products to vehicles across the country to an excellent standard with the ability to assist in other areas of manufacturing while providing an excellent customer service.
SALARY BAND & TRAINING: Comm-ply have a stringent training/fitting plan and salary scale for all our fitters based on 4 levels, Bronze Installers (£35,750pa), Silver Installers (£37,180pa), Gold Installers (£38,610pa) and Platinum Installers (£40,040pa). This is built into a career progression plan which is reviewed every 3-6 months.
All inexperienced Installers start at Bronze level which is £35,750 per annum. Progression into Silver, Gold and platinum Installer levels are based on the products you are trained and able to fit without assistance and other criteria’s.
HOURS: Monday to Friday 6.30am-4.30pm. (average of 5-15 hours a week is travelling to customers sites is included in these hours )
HOLIDAY: 22 Days + Bank Holidays.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
· IT Literate.
· Fluent in English.
· Full UK Driving License.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø To install aftermarket accessories to vehicles.
Ø Ensuring the quality and safety of the products installed to vehicles.
Ø Follow customer requirements and specifications.
Ø Adhere to the policies and procedures of customers while on their site.
Ø Successfully update and complete schedules using a PDA (iPad).
Ø Perform daily checks on the vehicles.
Ø Keep vehicle clean and tidy.
Ø Communicate any issues while on site to the Customer Service team/ national installation manager.
Ø Report any complaints.
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Assist in development and promote the culture of continuous improvement, thereby recommending and implementing authorised changes.
Ø Comply with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
Ø Maintain good housekeeping of the department including the equipment within it.
Ø Ensure high standards of conduct, appearance and behaviour are met at all times.
Ø Communicate effectively with all team members, colleagues and management team.
Ø Participate in the company stock takes when necessary.
In addition to the above duties and responsibilities, the job holder is required to perform any other duty requested by Management from time to time.
