Full job description

We are a long-established, friendly legal practice in Kilbirnie looking for an organised and approachable Legal Secretary or Paralegal to join our small, supportive team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative team where everyone pitches in and supports one another, especially when things get busy. We primarily focus on conveyancing, executries, guardianships, powers of attorney and Wills.

The role:

This is a varied, in-person role where you will play a key part in the smooth running of our office and front desk.

Your duties will include:

Acting as the first point of contact for clients in person, by phone and email
Managing incoming and outgoing mail
Filing, scanning and general office administration
Supporting legal staff with document preparation and administrative tasks, including preparing offers, missives and drafting deeds
Ordering reports and data inputting
Assisting with diary management and appointment scheduling
Providing excellent client care and handling calls with confidence and professionalism

About You:

Friendly, professional and reliable
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, confident telephone manner and a helpful, can-do attitude
Good IT skills (Word, Outlook, Adobe and general office systems)
Previous legal office experience is essential, however full training will be provided.
