Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Semi Skilled Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist with a variety of building and maintenance tasks, supporting skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills across multiple trades while contributing to exciting construction and renovation projects. Your hands-on approach, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn will be key to your success in this energetic environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, welding, and fabrication tasks under supervision
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support construction activities
Prepare work sites by cleaning and organizing materials and equipment
Support skilled tradespeople in measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing materials
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment
Help with painting, surface preparation, and finishing tasks as needed
Conduct basic inspections of completed work for quality assurance

Experience

Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites or related manual labor roles is preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
Exposure to trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing or electrical work is advantageous
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
