The role
You will own SEO delivery across our client portfolio, and critically, this is a hands-on implementation role, not an audit-and-handover one. Our clients' sites are predominantly WordPress, and you will be making on-page and technical changes yourself: page builders, plugins, schema, redirects, site structure. You will run technical audits, build content and local SEO strategies for multi-site clinics, and produce clear reporting clients can act on. You will work directly with the leadership team, who retain strategic oversight, so you will have senior support without micromanagement . We need someone who can take a client brief and run with it. Healthcare is a highly regulated industry. Experience marketing within healthcare or another regulated sector is strongly preferred, as you will be working within advertising and claims constraints from day one.
What you will do
- Own end-to-end SEO delivery for a portfolio of healthcare clients across the UK, Ireland and the US
- Implement changes directly in WordPress: on-page optimisation, technical fixes, schema markup, redirects and site structure
- Run technical audits and see the fixes through yourself or with our web team
- Build and execute content and local SEO strategies for multi-location providers
- Produce concise, decision-ready reporting for clients and internal stakeholders
- Work within healthcare advertising and regulatory constraints (ASA/CAP guidance, medical claims)
- Contribute to how we use AI and automation to improve SEO delivery
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, agency-side or in-house with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry is strongly preferred
- Confident implementing in WordPress: comfortable in the CMS, common page builders and SEO plugins, with working knowledge of HTML/CSS; enough technical depth to make changes safely on live client sites
- Strong technical SEO: crawling, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals
- Confident with the standard toolset (GSC, GA4, Ahrefs/Semrush/Screaming Frog or equivalents)
- Clear, concise communicator - you can explain what you did, why, and what it means in plain English
- Self-managing: able to own a client portfolio without daily direction
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI-assisted SEO workflows and answer-engine/LLM visibility
- Working knowledge of PPC fundamentals (not required as we have dedicated PPC leadership)

Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
