Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistant / Barista to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is friendly, proactive, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to a high standard
Take customer orders and handle payments accurately
Provide warm, friendly, and attentive customer service
Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, seating areas, and equipment
Restock supplies and assist with inventory management
Follow all food hygiene and safety guidelines
Support team members during busy periods
Requirements
Previous barista or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
Punctual, reliable, and well-presented
Willingness to learn and take initiative
Availability Requirement (Important)
Full flexibility is required throughout the summer period, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Candidates must be available to work a range of shifts

Pay: £10.00-£12.75 per hour
