Full job description

Overview
We are a patient-focused chiropractic clinic in Ayr seeking a professional, welcoming and reliable Receptionist. You will be the face and voice of our clinic, ensuring our patients receive an exceptional experience from the moment they get in touch.

This role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, primarily to cover team holidays and busy periods. However, we are ideally looking for an individual who is regularly available to cover our core clinic shifts on Mondays (3pm to 8pm) and Thursdays (8.30am to 1pm), totalling 9.5 hours per week.

Full training on our specific clinic systems, software, and processes will be provided to help you settle confidently into the role.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Experience: Greet patients warmly in person and provide a courteous, professional service over the phone.
Appointment Booking: Manage, schedule, coordinate patient appointments and changes accurately, addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Clinic Hygiene: Complete light cleaning tasks to keep the reception, waiting area and clinic rooms clean, hygienic and ready for patients.
Administration: Efficiently use IT systems to manage bookings and patient records whilst maintaining a tidy and organised reception area to enhance the overall patient experience.

Requirements

Attributes: Smartly dressed and professionally presented, polite, organised, reliable and highly respectful of patient confidentiality.
IT Literacy: Confident basic computer skills with the willingness to learn and navigate our dedicated clinic software.
Communication: An excellent telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills, both oral and written with a strong customer service ethos and a keen eye for detail.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
