Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Warehouse Operations Lead to drive excellence in our warehouse environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, ensure smooth logistics operations, and lead a team of dedicated warehouse staff. Your leadership will be instrumental in optimizing processes, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring timely shipping and receiving. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and are passionate about process improvement and team management, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact! Tuesday-Saturday

Duties

Lead and coordinate all warehouse operations, goods receiving, and inventory management.
Supervise and motivate warehouse team members to achieve operational goals efficiently and safely.
Oversee the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and process transactions accurately.
Implement process improvements to enhance workflow, reduce errors, and increase productivity across the warehouse.
Operate a forklift and pallet truckfor material movement, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Manage Waste.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to heavy lifting, mechanical equipment, and materials handling procedures.
Assist with making emergency deliveries if needed

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse operations with a strong understanding of logistics processes.
Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead, train, and develop staff effectively.
Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment such as forklifts
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of goods receiving procedures, materials handling techniques, and process improvement strategies.
Valid forklift certification preferred;
