Experienced Kitchen & Bedroom Fitter – Lead Installer

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Kitchen & Bedroom Fitter to join our installation team. This role is vital in ensuring our bespoke designs are installed to the highest standard, reflecting our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will lead a two-man fitting team, managing installations from start to finish while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and customer care.
Responsibilities
- Installation of fitted kitchens and bedrooms to design specifications
- Leading and coordinating a two-man fitting team
- Carrying out associated joinery work including flooring, skirtings, facings and finishing works
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Working closely with the design team to ensure client expectations are met
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
- Assisting with fabrication and assembly where required
- Troubleshooting and resolving installation issues on-site
- Ensuring projects are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in kitchen and/or bedroom fitting
- Strong carpentry and joinery skills
- Experience in fabrication, assembly and the use of hand and power tools
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual handling tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Friendly, professional manner with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Respect for customers’ homes, maintaining a clean and tidy work environment at all times
Preferred Skills
- Based within Central Scotland
- Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge (advantageous but not essential)
- Experience carrying out remedial and finishing works
