Bookkeeper – Full-Time/Part-Time

Location: R J Francis & Co, Marshall Business Centre, Faraday Road, Hereford, HR4 9NS
Hours: Permanent, full-time/part-time
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role:
Due to the continued success and growth of our bookkeeping department, R J Francis & Co have an opportunity for another experienced and dynamic bookkeeper to join our team. If you have a passion for technology, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent interpersonal skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We are looking for someone with relevant bookkeeping experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cloud-based software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage, and should have a keen interest in staying up to date with advancements in technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for a variety of clients.
Using software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
Preparing VAT returns and quarterly Making Tax Digital (MTD ITSA) submissions.
Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely submission of reports.
Managing multiple deadlines and handling client queries.

About You:

Proficient in the following: Xero, QuickBooks, Sage.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and control your own workload.
Experience in an accountancy practice is beneficial but not essential.
