Job Introduction

Credit Control Admin Support

We’re looking for an accurate, organised and reliable Credit Control Admin Support to join our friendly Credit Control team.

You’ll help keep customer accounts, payments and financial information accurate and up to date. This is a busy and varied role where attention to detail matters—you’ll be encouraged to spot errors, ask questions and follow issues through.

What you’ll be doing:

Taking, recording and allocating payments received by BACS, card and cash.
Preparing and processing Direct Debit information.
Accurately transferring financial information between different systems.
Creating and maintaining customer account records.
Reconciling internal accounts and investigating any differences.
Recording petty cash transactions and counter cash sales.
Checking paperwork and questioning anything that doesn’t look right.
Responding professionally to customer and colleague enquiries.
Working closely with Credit Control, Transport and Customer Support.
Handling customer and company financial information confidentially.
Providing general administrative support to the department.

Confidence working with figures and learning new systems.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
