Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and TIG Welding metal components with precision and efficiency, contributing to the production of high-quality products. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in welding and fabrication to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. This job requires weekend site work and overnight stays this is an important part of the role.
Duties
- Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various metals, including sheet metal and structural components.
- Fabricate metal parts according to technical drawings, specifications, and work orders.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
- Interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Conduct quality checks on welded joints and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures.
Skills
- Proficiency in TIG welding
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Experience working with sheet metal and structural steel components.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during fabrication or welding processes.
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and DWG interpretation.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with assembly processes and techniques related to metalwork projects. This position is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute their expertise in welding and fabrication to a professional team.

Pay: Up to £19.00 per hour
