Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Nursery Manager to lead and inspire our early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will oversee daily nursery operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children, and promote developmental growth through engaging activities. Your leadership will foster a positive atmosphere where children feel valued, supported, and excited to learn. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while managing a dedicated team of childcare professionals.

Duties

Manage daily nursery operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and licensing regulations
Lead, motivate, and support a team of educators and caregivers to deliver high-quality early childhood education
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote childhood development, social skills, and learning through play
Oversee classroom management to create a welcoming, organized, and stimulating environment for children of various ages including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
Coordinate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and foster strong relationships
Ensure all staff are trained in first aid, behavior management, special education needs, and working with children with disabilities
Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, health information, and incident reports
Promote health and safety protocols including infant care practices, toddler care routines, and emergency procedures such as first aid response

Requirements

Proven experience in early childhood education or childcare management with classroom experience in preschool or daycare settings
Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are a plus
Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to nurture positive behavior and support caregiving needs
Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of childcare quality
Exceptional communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth in a safe environment
