What the Work Involves
As a Cleaning Technician working with Nenis ClearSpace, you will be offered cleaning jobs across the area. You choose which jobs you are available for and we assign them to you through our scheduling app. You will receive full job details — address, service type, time and client notes — directly to your phone.
Types of jobs you will carry out:
- Standard domestic cleaning — kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas
- Deep cleaning — full top to bottom cleans including inside appliances
- End of tenancy cleaning — thorough clean to help tenants secure their deposit
- Airbnb and short let turnaround cleans
- Oven cleaning — specialist clean of ovens, hobs and extractors
What We Are Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience — at least 6 months domestic or commercial
- Reliable, punctual and takes pride in the quality of their work
- Friendly and professional when dealing with clients
- Must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom — documentary proof required before starting
- Valid Enhanced DBS check — or willing to obtain one before starting
- Own reliable transport to travel between jobs across Swindon and Wiltshire
- Own cleaning equipment and products — vacuum, mop, bucket, cloths, cleaning products - Smartphone to receive job notifications and mark jobs complete
- Registered as self-employed with HMRC — or willing to register before starting

Our Interview Process
1. Apply on Indeed — we respond to all applications within 2 working days
2. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a short 15 to 20 minute interview via Indeed — video call or phone
3. We will ask about your experience, availability and the areas you can cover
4. Successful applicants will receive a subcontractor agreement and onboarding documents to sign
5. Once your signed agreement, DBS certificate and right to work documents are with us — you are ready to start Important

This is a self employed subcontractor role. You will be responsible for your own tax and National Insurance through self assessment. You must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom. A valid DBS check is required before your first job. You must have your own cleaning equipment and products.
