Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient food production.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Participate in food preparation and cooking, demonstrating culinary skills and creativity in menu execution.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and enhance existing menu items.
Monitor inventory levels, assisting with ordering supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock for service.
Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
Engage with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
Supervising experience with the ability to manage a team effectively.
