We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team on a self employed basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their destinations while maintaining a clean and well-functioning vehicle. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to navigate various routes effectively.
Responsibilities
- Drive passengers to their desired locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintain the vehicle in good condition, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance as needed during their journey.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on duty.
- Manage cash and electronic payments accurately, providing receipts when necessary.
- Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or other items as required.
- Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and fuel consumption.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to ensure safety standards are met.
