Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts to develop their skills within a professional environment. The Chef de Partie will play a vital role in maintaining our restaurant’s reputation for excellence and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Shifts: 4 days a week (set days available) - 7am-2pm / 2pm-9pm - 28-38 hrs a week

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as sauces, fish, or grill stations
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed
Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
Support junior staff with training and guidance as required
Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
Excellent understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team
Experience in serving guests or customers is a plus but not essential

Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
