Job Title:

Part Time Linen Porter / Housekeeping Assistant. 15 Hours per week

Salary:

£14.10 per hour.

Working Hours:

15 hours per week.

2 days per week. 8am to 4pm.

Mainly at weekends with occasional midweek work required.

The role / duties:

As Housekeeping Assistant you will be required to carry out a range of tasks including:

Supporting the housekeeping team to ensure that the highest standards are maintained.
Carpet cleaning.
High level and deep cleaning tasks.
Specialist cleaning tasks – training will be provided.
Cleaning and presentation of public areas.
Cleaning guest bedrooms and bathrooms.
Cleaning back of house areas.
Linen stock control.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and with hotel operating procedures.

Skills:

We are looking for someone with a broad range of skills and experience that should include;

Social confidence. You must be able to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
A genuine passion for the task in hand.
A keen eye for detail.
Pride in your personal appearance.
The ability to multitask and the drive to see things completed with the required attention to detail.
Be a team player, ready and willing to assist your colleagues in all departments.
