Location: Hybrid (3 days per week at Centennial Park, Elstree – relocating to London Bridge from November 2026 / 2 days remote)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum + discretionary annual bonus

The Role

As our Global Social Media Manager, you will join our Global Customer Experience team and serve as a key driving force behind our brand's digital presence. Reporting directly to the Head of Communications, you will translate complex, science-backed formulas into engaging, social-first campaigns that build global credibility and educate our community.

In this role, you will lead a talented in-house team of content creators, guiding social strategy, channel management, and platform growth while empowering your team to execute day-to-day scheduling and creative outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Platform Leadership

Translate global brand ambitions into actionable social media strategies that drive audience growth, engagement, and visibility across key channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube).
Oversee organic social campaigns and partner with external account managers at Meta and TikTok to keep Medik8 at the forefront of digital feature updates.
Act as an internal authority on emerging social trends and digital features, sharing actionable insights with marketing stakeholders to inform content strategy.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

Lead, mentor, and support an in-house team of content creators, encouraging creative experimentation and supporting their professional development.
Partner closely with UK and US regional teams to amplify local activations, influencer partnerships, and live community events, ensuring global brand consistency.
Work cross-functionally across departments to deliver integrated digital campaigns that support overall business goals.

Performance Analysis & Continuous Improvement

Own the reporting suite across social channels, using platform analytics to evaluate campaign performance, track share of voice, and identify audience growth opportunities.
Monitor market developments and competitor activity to refine campaign tactics and ensure strong return on investment (ROI).

Social Media Management: Proven experience managing consumer-facing social accounts and leading or mentoring content creators within a fast-paced environment.
Skincare / Beauty Affinity: Understanding of the beauty or skincare vertical, with the ability to communicate science-led products in an accessible, engaging way.
Data & Platform Literacy: Experience using social platform analytics tools to evaluate performance, guide creative decisions, and report on key campaign metrics.
Project & Campaign Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage campaign timelines, adapt to platform algorithm updates, and prioritise team workflows.
Collaborative Leadership: A supportive, low-ego leadership style focused on empowering creative teams and working constructively across cross-functional departments.

Desirable Criteria (Nice to Haves)

Direct experience handling social communications in the prestige skincare, clinical beauty, or cosmeceutical sectors.
Familiarity with YouTube organic channel growth or paid social integrations.
Experience coordinating social campaigns across international markets.
