This is an excellent opportunity to take on a HR Business Partner role in a part-time role, working in a supportive and respected team, in a vacancy which has arisen from the successful progression of the current postholder.
As an HR Business Partner, you will have the key consultative and partnering role to specified client departments and services within the organisation. Your role will focus on strategic HR, providing resources, being accountable for service delivery and building relationships to enable the delivering mission and objectives set out by the organisation and developing the capability and culture. The HR Business Partner is a key member of senior leadership teams in the services that you will partner and contributes strongly to their organisational strategy, management and output.
As an HR Business Partner, you may, at any time, be expected to undertake the roles of strategic planner, facilitator, trainer, coach, expert advisor, project manager or critical friend, working very closely with other teams from across HR. This role includes providing the critical strategic HR input to the board of a sub-company to the University.
Underpinned by strong employee relations expertise and interpersonal skills, you will need to be able to develop highly effective partnership relations with key staff, understand the business of the different services that you partner, and be able to identify and adapt the critical HR solutions to meet very different organisational needs and ensure their delivery.
This role offered on a part time (21.9 hours per week) fixed term basis with an expected end date of 31/12/2027.
