Spa Partnership & Business Development Manager

Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Hours: Full-Time – Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Job Type: Permanent
Work Location: In person

About Us

Japanese Head Spa Co is a fast-growing international luxury wellness brand specialising in Japanese Head Spa equipment, professional products, and accredited training for salons, spas, and wellness businesses across the UK and globally.

We currently work with major spa and retail partners including the Bannatyne Group, Warner Hotels, Marriott Hotels and Capital Hair & Beauty, with ambitious plans to continue expanding into additional spa groups, retail partnerships, and international markets.

As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a commercially driven and relationship-focused professional to help manage and grow our expanding portfolio of spa and wholesale partnerships.

This role offers strong long-term progression opportunities and the chance to become part of a rapidly expanding international brand within the luxury beauty and wellness industry.

About the Role

This role will focus on managing and growing strategic spa, hotel, and wholesale partnerships across the UK and internationally.

You will act as a key point of contact for major spa groups and retail partners, supporting account growth, promotional planning, retail performance, and long-term relationship management across multiple locations.

Working closely with internal departments and external partners, you will help drive brand expansion, retail growth, and strategic partnership development within a fast-growing luxury wellness brand.

Key Responsibilities

Managing relationships with major spa and wholesale partners including Bannatyne Group, Warner Hotels, Marriott Hotels, and Capital Hair & Beauty
Acting as a key point of contact for multi-site spa groups and strategic accounts
Building and maintaining strong long-term relationships with partners through regular communication and ongoing account support
Supporting spa groups with product launches, promotional campaigns, and marketing activity in collaboration with the marketing department
Presenting upcoming launches, seasonal collections, and promotional opportunities to partners ahead of launch periods
Helping spa groups maximise retail opportunities across spa receptions, treatment areas, and retail displays
Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and increase retail performance
Supporting the expansion of the brand into additional spa chains and international markets
Identifying and approaching new partnership opportunities within the spa, wellness, hospitality, and beauty sectors
Supporting negotiations for new partnerships, retail opportunities, and promotional placements
Ensuring partners have accurate SKU information, pricing structures, product data, and marketing materials for their internal systems
Coordinating POS materials and retail display support for spa and wholesale partners
Ensuring partners are correctly representing the brand across their websites and marketing channels
Supporting seasonal forecasting and forward planning to help avoid stock shortages during high-demand retail periods
Working closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth account support and order fulfilment
Maintaining accurate records of account activity, pricing, contacts, and order history
Monitoring industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to identify commercial opportunities
Confidently communicating the luxury positioning, brand story, and unique selling points of Japanese Head Spa Co
Supporting product education and brand training initiatives to help increase retail sales and treatment integration

Ideal Candidate

Strong communication and relationship management skills
Commercially minded with confidence identifying growth opportunities
Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
Professional and confident communication skills both via email and telephone
Strong account management and client relationship-building abilities
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
Confident working with premium brands and professional business partners
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Strong attention to detail
A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in helping grow a fast-moving international brand
Confident using spreadsheets, internal systems, and professional communication platforms

Desirable Experience

Experience within the beauty, spa, wellness, hospitality, or luxury retail industries
Experience in account management, partnerships, business development, or B2B sales
Experience managing wholesale or retail partnerships
Experience supporting launches, retail campaigns, or promotional activity
Experience working with multi-site businesses or national accounts
Experience delivering product education or brand training would be advantageous
