Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, identifying, and treating pest infestations in residential and commercial properties. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and entry points
- Implement appropriate treatment plans using approved pesticides and methods
- Apply treatments safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies to minimise future infestations
- Maintain accurate records of treatments performed and client interactions
- Assist in setting up bait stations, traps, and other pest control devices as required
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order and properly stored after use
- Follow all company protocols and legal requirements related to pesticide application
Experience
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of pests, their behaviours, and control methods is beneficial
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Valid driving licence preferred, as travel between sites may be required
