Role Description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician to join our team and train towards becoming a fully qualified Pharmacy Technician. This is a two-year apprenticeship post designed to support you through the nationally recognised qualification required to register as a pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). You’ll work closely with our small, supportive team and gain hands-on experience across all areas of community pharmacy.

What You’ll Do

Support the pharmacist and wider team in the safe, efficient, and effective running of the pharmacy
Dispense and supply prescribed medicines with accuracy and care
Offer excellent customer service, providing advice and assistance where appropriate
Maintain stock control and help manage pharmaceutical ordering systems
Learn to handle prescription queries and liaise with healthcare professionals
Undertake all required training, coursework, and assessments as part of your pre-registration programme

What We’re Looking For

A genuine interest in pharmacy, healthcare, and helping others
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work accurately under pressure and as part of a team
Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on feedback
Ability to work well in a team environment
Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is a plus but not essential
GCSE Mathematics and Science
