Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Admin/Accounts Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support financial operations within a dynamic organisation, ensuring accurate data entry, processing of sales invoices, and utilisation of various software. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the wider administrative functions of the company.
Responsibilities
- Assist with processing invoices
- Maintain organised records of financial transactions and documentation
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy across multiple platforms including Xero, Sage, and other relevant systems
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely processing of payments and compliance with organisational policies
- Support general administrative duties such as filing, correspondence, and scheduling related to finance and administrative operations
Skills
- Experience with Xero would be advantagous but not essential as training will be given
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and financial services operations
- Proficiency in using Excel or other spreadsheet programmes for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate across teams effectively

Pay: Up to £27,000.00 per year
